Dominica is an island in the Caribbean Sea, officially known as the Commonwealth of Dominica. Its capital is Roseau. Dominica is one of the Windward Islands and part of the Lesser Antilles region. Due to its unspoiled natural environment, it is often referred to as the “Nature Island of the Caribbean.” Dominica is located south of Guadeloupe and north of Martinique, covering an area of approximately 750 square kilometers, with a population of around 71,293 as of 2011. The official language of the country is English, but Dominican Creole and French are also spoken. This country boasts pristine nature which has now become the focal point of its tourism industry, to the extent that the international company, Oxin, has ventured into hospitality and tourism there.
